Every time I hear that music score, "Hello Zepp", written by the brilliant Charlie Clouser? I just get whipped in to an excited frenzy... :-D

Alright, so - SAW V. I wont saw much on the subject, for those who followed the original series through IV, you're likely asking the same thing I did -- "How are they having another SAW movie staring Tobin Bell?"
Well, he's already signed on for SAW VI, so apparently it doesn't end in this one either (which in my humble opinion is AWESOME. hehehe)...

Alright.
So - I'm really not all that difficult to please when it comes to a video game. Give me a decent plot, some good sequences, some decent gameplay, etc...
I'd been waiting over the past year for the game, Alone in the Dark, to be released - playing off the old series from when I was a kid.
I have to say - that was likely the single worst game I have played in ... a long... long... long.. (ever?).. long time...
I kept playing and playing, despite my literal boredom, at least wanting to know where the story line went. Yeah - it did even have a few (emphasis on few) redeeming qualities. But, I kept playing and playing just waiting for it to get "better". I figured the ending would at least have a little flare..
Instead?
No. The game just sorta.. ended? No climax? No cliff-hanger? No coming to a pause in the story line.. Nothing?!?!! It just.. ended?????
What - in - the - HELL!?!?!?
Gamespot gave it only a rating of 6.5, though honestly I think that was too generous.. Oh maaaaaaan am I disappointed... feh |

Shopping insurance companies...
I'm currently with Liberty Mutual for both auto and home insurance. I primarily went with them a while back by recommendation of my father. Well, after 26+ years of service, they up and cancelled his plan with no discussion first after he filed his first claim ever... Uhm... Yeah? Screw them...
Been shopping rates on auto insurance first...
Progressive has been the best so far, shaving almost $75/mo off my current payment. If home insurance is reasonable, than I'll likely be switching to them...
Also checked out Nationwide, All State, and Geico. Anyone have any recommendations for anyone else I should be checking out? Good experiences? Cheapest price isn't necessarily the most important -- good experiences welcome too please?
I should probably mention that I have quite the .. uhm.. *clears throat* delinquent driving record. I've cleaned my act up now (sorta? kinda?) -- but I do have 5 "incidents" in the past 5 years (3 speeding, one failure to signal, and one failure to obey stop sign). The latest was back in 2006, but - still... Insurance companies usually don't take kindly to, "I'm sorry?" hehehe |

The more I think about it, perhaps it really was another life ago. It was only 2 weeks ago that we were sitting across the table from one another having dinner, laughing over the gay music at Ru Sans. I can't say it was as if nothing had ever changed, because everything had changed. How many years had passed? I'm definitely not the kid I was back then. No longer how things were, but rather peers now. Friends. I wish she (they) didn't live so far away... :-\
I suppose I shouldn't get too wrapped up in it. We'll meet again sooner than I think. *This* is what I want to focus on... |

I'm in need of someone (preferably a FRIEND, someone I know and can personally relate with as opposed to a stranger) to draw a couple of tattoos for me. I already know at least the basis of both designs, and can even produce examples of the ideas - but want someone else's input. The process will require a bit of patience as I'm probably going to come back 12 times saying, "Uhm... Almost, but we're not quite there yet..."

While I'm thinking about it - I wanted to throw out a special thanks to everyone who helped out along the way over the past couple of months. Though my complete thank yous are quite lengthy, I wanted to give special thanks to filmzombie74, esimo06, and above and beyond everyone else -- my lovely wife, leiseengel. While I may have put the show together dealing with the venues, contracts, flyers, etc. - she was more than a ***huge*** help with promotions and things behind-the-scenes (not to mention putting up with me and assisting with my sanity during the whole process). It really was "ours", so credit where credit is due...

Does anyone on my friends list at least have a COPY of the Silke Bischoff CD "To Protect and To Serve"??? I'd honestly pay a fair amount of change for an actual pressing of it - but for now would at least live with a burnt copy of it...
That CD has always held sentimental value to me.... Anyone? |
