HALLOWEEN PARTY!!!
We love Halloween and we know you do too! So, Phobia is giving you one ANOTHER chance to celebrate, be scary, and WEAR THAT COSTUME on November 6th!
DJs Aesthetic, 313, and Lecter will have you scared to leave the dance floor, while Master Chuck gives you a safe place to play in our dungeon. As always, our doors open at 10pm and they close at 6am. The cover is only $12 in costume or fetish gear and $15 otherwise!
Oh and did I mention, we *WILL* have candy!?! |

About 6-7 years ago...
DJed a weekly Wednesday night at The Armory.
It changed names a few times. I remember "New Death Disco" being one of the names...
Trey ran the night...
It was one of the best nights I've ever done.
The crowds were never "huge" -- but rather always so eclectic.
I'd go on DJing after Amiee who'd be playing David Bowie, The Buzzcocks, etc. I'd follow it up with some Virgin Prunes, Sex Gang Children. None of it "really" fit together, and yet somehow - it was all so perfect to me???
I miss that...
Today I thought about it as I recently discovered Pete Shelley's "Homosapien"... |

Since a few people have asked me...
The heptagram is the human -- the body and the spirit of this human…
The significance of a 7 sided star could be related to one of a dozen different things. The star of Venus, the 7th sephirah Netzach from the tree of life, lineal figure of the 7 planets, etc. -- noting the force that corresponds with Venus or Netzach (beauty, creativity, pleasure, social interactions, unions, friendship).
The triangle symbolizes the triad which operates in all things, to the third sephirah Binah or the supernals of the tree of life… Students of the hermetic art use a black triangle to see or bind spirits. To ME -- it works to hold the ego in place so it wont interfere with the work at hand.
I once had a dream about this symbol -- later looking up that Venus (hectogram) is sometimes referred to as a "gate". Project Pitchfork has used a very similar symbol on early album covers with specific focus on the same principles. I e-mailed back and forth with Peter years ago discussing all of this -- which only further piqued my obsession with it...

So what does all of this equate to for ME? My true "self" trying to escape so many things of this world that bind me -- hence the significance of the two top points exiting the triangle as opposed to being contained in it… |
